full black and white compressedAttorney Seth R. Buitendorp grew up in Grand Haven, Michigan and in 1998, received his B.A. from the University of Michigan where he is a member of the University’s Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa.

He later received his law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law in 2001. Attorney Buitendorp was admitted to practice in the State of Wisconsin in 2001 and the State of Indiana in 2002. He is also licensed to practice in the federal court system for the Northern District of Indiana.

Attorney Buitendorp enjoys working in the area of consumer and commercial collections because it gives him the opportunity to work personally with clients from start to finish and help them to maximize their accounts receivable. Bankruptcy is a dynamic and ever-evolving area of law, and as a means to compliment his legal education and experience and hone his professionals skills, Attorney Buitendorp maintains membership in the following professional organizations:

NARCA – National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys;
ACA International – The Association of Credit and Collection Professionals;
and the American Bankruptcy Institute.

When he is not at work, Seth enjoys spending time with his wife, Rebecca, whom he met while they were both law students at the University of Valparaiso. Rebecca also currently practices law in the greater northwest Indiana area.
